Book the building first
Most apartment buildings require a booked lift window and a certificate of currency from your removalist. Arrange both at least a week ahead.
Parking and permits
The City of Hobart issues temporary parking permits for removals. Without one, a truck may be forced to park a block away and every metre of carry costs time.
