Get three quotes based on the same inventory. Confirm whether the price is door to door or depot to depot, and ask for the delivery window in writing.
Four weeks out
Book the move and lock in the sailing. Arrange transit protection. Start using up food, cleaning products and anything that cannot be carried on a vessel.
Moving week
Set aside a survival box you keep with you. Clean outdoor items and pot plants for quarantine. Photograph high-value items before they are wrapped.
